For all prospective learners or individuals advising those who intend

For all prospective learners or individuals advising those who intend to learn this life skill, hearken to me. When learning how to drive, the choice of driving instructors is often extensive, but it is also what I consider the most important choice you make when learning this very vital skill. Bad driving instructors will pretty well doom your driving career from the beginning and you will most likely become one of those individuals who gets honked by road ragers on a regular basis.
To be frank, the instruction you receive from the people who teach you how to drive will be instrumental in shaping how you drive. Whether you get a professional driving instructor who has been in hundreds of nail-biting, death-defying, heart-stopping moments sitting beside numerous learner drivers (who were all as nervous as you), or you learn from a parents who almost has an aneurysm every time you slow down too late for a traffic light and screech to an abrupt halt - who can blame them really, it's often their car; bad driving instructors could end up with you failing your driving practicals time and time again - something that nobody ever wants to do. Not only is it expensive in both cash and time, it's also pretty damn embarrassing when you have to admit to your expectant friends that "Yeah, I totally failed."
But as much of a hassle that finding driving instructors and forking over all that beautiful hard-earned cash is, learning how to drive and finally passing that all important test is all worth it when you finally hold that brand (spankin') new licence in your hand - even after forking out that obscenely high licensing fee. It's even better when you finally can afford to buy that first new car and sit down in front of the wheel for the very first time. It's a combination of the new car smell, the thrill of owning your own vehicle that you can drive ANYWHERE that you want and just knowing that with your own car you can be truly free.
At the wheel, you can go where the wind takes you; you can go where your impulses lead. Travel to the mountains, to the ocean, to the wide open plains...
...until you have to top up your tank and realise just how expensive maintaining your own vehicle is. No wonder so many people leave their cars at homes nowadays and just take the bus.
