I used to ride my bike to school when I was a teenager. When I got to

I used to ride my bike to school when I was a teenager. When I got to seventeen years old I had been busy doing my national diploma. Most of my friends had learned how to drive by the age of twenty. I had gone off working abroad as a children's nanny when I was nineteen to twenty eight years old. I came home from that trip and was in a long distance relationship with my ex-boyfriend. He had come from Luxembourg. So that is how I had reached age thirty three without knowing how to drive.
I got my provisional driving license from the DSA. Then I looked at adverts for automatic driving schools on the Internet. There didn't seem to be many in my local area. I phoned up the two automatic driving schools and neither had space in their timetable to take on another learner. My friend Kerry suggested I rang one of the national driving schools to see if they offered any automatic driving schools in my locality. I was delighted to hear that they worked with an automatic driving instructor. They gave a lesson date in two weeks time. I had felt so lucky to get a place because it seemed automatic driving schools were somewhat thin on the ground.
I liked the auto car that my driving instructor had. My lessons seemed to go slowly to begin with because there was such a lot to learn. Steering had been the most challenging thing to learn. I bought a note book and wrote down all what I had learned after each lesson. Two months later my driving skills began to get a bit better. I mastered how to do a turn in the road, back around a corner, do an emergency stop and parallel parking.
Seven months later my practical driving test date came up. I had felt so very nervous that day. The expression on the examiners face had been really serious. I drove down the High Street really carefully. Then I turned up on of the side roads where I did an emergency stop. I drove on further and had to back around a corner. I had to park in the driving test car park so that was the most scary thing that I had to do. I was delighted when the examiner said that I had passed.
I went home and told my boyfriend Andrew. He was delighted to hear my wonderful news of success. He kissed my lips really lovingly and gave me a glass of wine. We sat on the sofa drinking the wine. Then took my hand and led me up to bed. We slipped off our clothes and made mad passionate love all night to celebrate.
