When I first looked up the "driving school uk" in which to take my theory test, I was quite scared. I had operated a motor vehicle before, however I had never studied for a written test. I was never good at any of my exams back in school, so the very thought of taking a theory test made my palms sweat and my belly ache.
I grabbed a book on driving and began to study all that I needed to know for my upcoming driving test. I learned about all sorts of street signs, laws, and regulations that I had never been aware of during all of my years on the road. I began to wonder how I had been driving my motor vehicle for such a time without understanding the rules that were included on this theory test.
When I had finally studied enough to the point where I was satisfied, I called up the school and scheduled my driving test. I hope that I did not break the law by driving my motor vehicle to the test, but I had no other way to get there. When I finally arrived, there was a long line of students also waiting to take the test. I used this extra time while standing in the queue to look through my notes one last time, I was so nervous!
Finally it was time to take my driving test. I had done all that I could to prepare, so I picked up my pencil and took a deep breath. I rushed through as fast as I could, and answered all of the questions about road signs and local traffic laws. I had the urge to cheat several times, but I did not do so, as I knew that it was not the right thing to do.
I finished my theory test early, and walked to the front of the room to turn it in. I left the driving school, unsure of how I had performed, yet relieved that it was finally over. I received the good news in the mail a few days later. I had passed my test!
