Ever since I left school I had been stuck on what I wanted to do with my life, I am quite a creative person and I really enjoy doing art but there isn't much in the way of arty jobs around where I live. I also enjoy helping people so I thought hard about if I wanted todo aPsychology course or not. In the end I gave it a go but the teacher was not the best and I ended up leaving the coursebecause I just wasn't learning enough.
So now we are here, I left school about five years ago now, and since then I have been working in a supermarket. This is definitely not the best thing for me, I feel a bit embarrassed sometimes to say that I work as a cashier, I know people look down on me for it, whether they mean to or not. The ugly uniform doesn't help!
I've been driving for the last few years, and I have always enjoyed it, and like to think I am quite a good driver. It made me consider a career in teaching people to drive. I would be one of the few female driving instructors about in my area too. I did a quick online test to test my driving theory knowledge, and I don't think I did that badly really. When I was learning to drive I did my theory online test many times and I was always quick good with high marks. At my work they offer a delivery service with a van, I've never driven a van before but I wouldn't mind giving that side of my job a go. I do think I would look silly in a van though!
I put off training to be a driving instructor though, the thought scares me sometimes and I am not sure if I am ready for it. I occasionally go back to the online test a particular company provides, and I still get good marks in it, so I really think I should give the course a go! I would like to teach people to drive safely really, my main concern is about all the bad drivers that are about, so if I can help creat good and safe drivers, then brilliant!
