I was in a car with my father. We were driving down to watch our local football team. My dad had managed to get us a free pass to watch training earlier in the week. We were given the opportunity to take some pictures with the players.I would rather have driven down on my new bike to be honest with you but we bonded when it came to football, so driving down with him was the right thing to do. He worked for skip hire uk, so money was tight but these journeys helped.
To me all the cars are the same. My dad called our car his baby. He said it was a classic car that could hold it's own against any bike. I wasn't sure but who was I to try to spoil his fun anyway? We talked tactics on the journey and team selection. He told me David Beckham was his favorite player because he knew how to pass the ball. He was mine too. I asked my father to pass me the pictures we had taken. He looked so happy in them.
I don't know if this was a classic car. To be honest, my knowledge is not great when it comes to automobiles. It might be a classic car, it might not. It certainly has sentimental attachment to it. This is the only car I've ever known.I bought the bike because I was getting older and I loved the freedom it provides, but what it could never replace - is the memories we had and the journeys. Each one telling a magical tale.
We finally reached our destination. All I wanted now was for the game to start. Me and my father especially were football fanatics. We loved the game. We talked about tactics all the time. This was the bond we had. We had other things in common but I think the passion was what made it different. We supported United and our local side. We were very proud to go to the local games because it isn't about the money. It's about the pride and the respect you can game. The name you can make for yourself.
