Young drivers of today are mostly reckless. All they care about is speed. You can't enjoy travel anymore to the quiet countryside because even on the way to your destination, you will surely be passed by maniac young drivers shouting at the top of their lungs and speeding up like they have a death wish.

I wish the government would be more strict in giving out driver's licenses or up the legal age of driving to at least 24. It would give our young drivers today a chance to be mature first. I think it would even be more helpful if driving lessons prices would increase as well since kids would not be able to learn driving unless they have money. But then again, there are so many privileged kids nowadays or yuppies as some would call them. Perhaps making the test harder would be a better idea. Kids who pass harder tests are usually the more responsible ones.

I do not mean to be bitter but at such an old age where you enjoy peace and quiet most of the time, it is essential for us old folks not to be bothered when we're trying to enjoy as much quiet time as we could. It calms our nerves and gives us the serenity needed for old age. When old people travel, we do not pass an opportunity for a little quiet time as well. We enjoy the serenity of the countryside but when kids pass by howling at the top of their lungs, it just causes us stress. travel is something we enjoy that we can barely afford, please give us the time to enjoy what we can when we are out trying to have a good time. You kids can crowd on the noisy pubs but please leave us alone when we're having coffee at a small cafe or dinner at a homey restaurant. You can make all the noise you want in the appropriate places but leave us be in the places where it's supposed to be quiet and serene and calming. If you get to my age, you will realize that what I'm saying is important.
