Riding your bike around is cool when you're a popular mountain biker. People don't make fun of you because you're talented and have lots of friends. Too bad I wasn't a popular guy. I rode my bike to and from everywhere I went because I didn't have my license yet. One time I had to tried to make my bike look better by adding a motor.... big mistake. Let's just say you shouldn't add a motor to a bike that doesn't need nor want a motor.

So when my grandpa said if I passed a driving lessons course he would pay for half of a car for me, I was ecstatic and all too ready to get started, I read the books over and over and memorized every line. I practiced on video games and dreamt of owning a car. If i passed this test it would all just be too easy. I could drive to school. I wouldn't be that loser who rode his bike everyday. I wouldn't be that dork who couldn't afford to get his own car. No, I'd be cool. And life would be that much more better.

Finally the course started and I participated to my best ability everyday and I finally passed the course, when my grandfather said that I had to pass the drivers license test too! What a liar! I signed up for a driving license test and had to wait a full month and a half to get a slot. Not only that but it was conveniently the day before my birthday and my grandpa said it would conveniently also be his birthday gift for me if I passed.

Great...

What happened if I didn't pass? No gift at all. And I was sure if I failed my whole family would be disappointed in me too. I'd be the loser in my family as well as school. Jesus I was like destined to be a loser no matter where I was or what I did.

Finally the test happened. I failed. It was awful.

My birthday came quickly and I found no presents.. whoa they all really were disappointed in me. But then I went outside to see a brand new car! .. But I couldn't drive it yet... awe man. Looks like I'm stuck on the bike until I pass that stupid test
