My husband and I run a nice place. I like to call it a driver’s home away fromhome. I was checking into the prices for skip for hire the other day and found out that how days it is used isn't so important as the amount of waste deposited into them. Each and every hgv (heavy goods vehicle driver) driver who uses it for any number of things like to have it available to deposit waste and I have left a print out of theirinstructionas towhat they can and can't use it for.
I think having all of the instruction on a huge board beside the motor park should be enough for every hgv driver (heavy goods vehicle driver) to have been warned. I can't have every hgv driver discarding his resident’s garbage in the skip. Broken tools and parts that break on the trailers will had too much weight to the skips. They can get rid of that somewhere else.
We run a nice truck stop, one that the hgvdrivers (heavy goods vehicle) can be sure they have here to use for, like cleaning their motor or a place to sleep in comfort and security. How to use this facility instruction is posted everywhere. It is up to the hgv driver (heavy goods vehicle driver) in every slot in the park out back to take care of the place. If I have a lot of overhead caused by them not following the instruction to stay here, we all pay a higher price for this service. I for one will have to pay more for the skip for hire as well as more for the company I pay to clean up the motor cleaning stations. We have a company who comes in here and steam cleans the showers as well as the carpets in all of the rooms they rent to get some quality sleep. We're also looking into setting up a way to have the drivers pull in and hook up to air conditioning for a fee right into the window of the cab so they can stay in the truck to sleep. Those facilities are becoming very popular. The future of R&R TruckStopthe possibilities are endless.
