I had been using our motorbike for a year. However, I grew tired of being exposed to sun light and dust because the traffic was heavy. So, I thought about having my own car for transport when I go to the place where I worked in the university for women. Anyway, my dad left me a car in the garage before he left for abroad. I love to travel. I want to go from one place to another and its hard to do that when you are just commuting. I thought, I need a car to satisfy my pleasure. But how can I do that if I don't even know how to drive? I asked one of my friends, "How much a driving lessons cost?". "The last time I checked, they have increased their tuition fees", my friend answered. I have tried to checked out other driving schools and compare their fees. At the age of 17 I was given the opportunity at my high school of taking car driving lessons. It was a very small class and it was meant to prepare young drivers to take the driving test and get a license. Being the youngest in my family no one had ever bothered to take the time to teach me how to drive so for me, these car driving lessons came as a real treat. After passing an online test which tested whether someone was ready for a driving test, and getting the new car, I finally decided it was prime time I should go to the driving school. After some minutes dedicating to performing a rigorous local search on Google for the best driving school I could find, I finally came up with three options. I had to choose only one so I went through all three websites and looked for specific information like time required for the test and the like. Then I rang up the companies to negotiate a rate as I had gotten a 15% discount rate from the Car retail corporation. Thankfully, they all agreed on using it so I was still left to rack my brains. Finally, I chose the one which was nearest to my house. I called them up to confirm it and they agreed on 12 am the next day. I was all jumpy with excitement - I was finally gonna learn how to drive! 12 am couldn't come fast enough and it felt like it was some years later. The time passed like a snail! I couldn't even sleep for most of the night of excitement but I was still fresh as anything in the morning, fresh than ever, in fact. After having a slice of toast with some jam and getting ready in the special clothes I'd picked up for driving, I took to waiting again, this time on the couch. It was as boring as ever. Finally, at 11, when I couldn't take it anymore, I persuaded my brother to drop me off early as I was getting annoyed beyond measure. The bad traffic situation made us reach the driving school at around 11:40. There were many other candidates over there too, many the same age as me. I used to ride my bike to school when I was a teenager. When I got to seventeen years old I had been busy doing my national diploma. Most of my friends had learned how to drive by the age of twenty. I had gone off working abroad as a children's nanny when I was nineteen to twenty eight years old. I came home from that trip and was in a long distance relationship with my ex-boyfriend. Being from Africa, Dume wasn't accustomed to the fact that he had to go to a driving school before he would be allowed to drive. Where he came from there was no law regarding driving, or if there was one he wasn't aware of it as nobody abided by the laws. Driving lawfully was the least of his concerns in Somalia. He was more concerned with staying alive than he was about driving laws. But his life was much more relaxed now, and he had time to think about such foreign concepts as attending a driving school and getting a proper drivers license. His cultural inauguration to driving was about to begin, meaning that the first of his classes were only a few days away. He was quite excited, to say the least. His excitement wasn't due only to his attending a driving school, but also due to the fact that he might get to meet some new people. He still didn't have many friends in this country, and any social contact was welcomed by him even if people turned out to be not so friendly or even sometimes downright racist. He knew that would probably happen even before he immigrated, and he was becoming used to it although of course it still was painful and angering to him. He just wrote it off as lack of education and stupidity, which he knew he was right about although it didn't excuse it. Regardless, he wasn't about to have any preconceptions about what a day at a driving school might be like, and he was keeping an open mind about it. At best, he could have the time of his life, and at worst he would at least have the knowledge required to gain a driving license. He knew he would pass, as he'd always been a good student, regardless if he was learning in his native African language or in English. Both languages were equally easy for him. He hopped on his motorbike and headed for the countryside, where the class was to be conducted that day. The air was crisp and clean, and the ride itself had already made the day worthwhile. The landscape in this part of the country was so different than what he was used to, and to him it was magnificent. Although he missed sometimes the scorching heat of his homeland, the cool air here was a welcome change. He parked his motorcycle and headed into the classroom.

Automatic cars are becoming a trend nowadays, the convenience that it brings helps many drivers shift to this kind of vehicle. Automatic cars are different from manual cars. They have fewer gears to look at, and once your running on the road you would not think of shifting gears anymore. There is also no need on watching your clutch as it does not exist anymore. The only thing you have on is the break for breaking or slowing down and the gas pedals for speeding up. I had made an appointment to get a driving lesson and some safety driving instruction from one of the instructors from theDepartment of Motor Vehicles. I had seen a commercial on television that they were giving free lessons to anybody who wanted to improve their driving scores. I thought that it would be a good idea. Since earlier this year I got a speeding ticket and had to pay over 180 dollars for it. That is a lot of money, and at the time I couldn't really afford it but I did end up paying the ticket. I haven't gotten into a car crash since I was 23 years old. That was my only car accident and it wasn't my fault. I skidded of my black ice when I was living in Flagstaff Arizona and there was a car in the ditch that got stuck. A car coming from the on ramp onto the freeway lost control and bumped me and I crashed into the car in the ditch. Really, I think the man in the car who bumped me should be taking adriving lesson to improve his driving on safety and speeding.

I usually travel in a car when I take trips to be safe, but this trip I was taking I needed cheap driving lessons. It was a motorbike trip so I had to cheap driving lessons before then. Since leaving school I had always had a job, until now that is, the recession had hit me badly work wise and it was crippling me and my family. It was the summer holiday for the schools in the area and both my kids wanted to do so much before they had to go back to their schools but we just hadn't got the money and they didn't seem to understand why not, they wanted to go out in the car but I told them we couldn't afford to and they kept on asking why as they didn't want to go anywhere that was going to cost money they just wanted to go for a drive, I told them that even driving in the car costs money because we have to pay for the petrol and nowadays petrol isn't cheap, then again nothing is now.

I decided to get automatic driving lessons as I neededclasses or lessons so I could learn to drive a car as this was what I really wanted more than anything. I wanted automatic driving lessons for my birthday an then be able to buy a car although my dad was nervous to get me a car because he was not sure whether I would drive safe or not as I could be immature sometimes and he figured I would go show off to people that I could drive or something and end up having a dangerous accident although I did know better than to show off and I knew that once I had my automatic driving lessons and knew how to drive I would drive very safe and take care especially when I had people in the car with me because I would never put anybody in danger not ever. I liked my automatic driving lessons at first as they were great because I was really good and the women teaching me to drive made the lessons very very fun but eventually I just got fed up of them. I did not want to be learning how to drive. I wanted to be in a car driving in the streets not wasting my time on lessons! I already knew what to do and had proven to my teacher that I could do everything you needed to do to be able todrive and so I just wanted to take my driving test and get the keys to my new car. Eventually I did domy driving test andpassed with flying colours and it was not long before I was on the open road. I did behave and not show off to my friends but to be honest I did not need to and I could not anyway because some of my friends already had a car before me and had learnt to drive so there was nobody to show off to. I was very safe with my car and treat it like it was the most amazing thing in the world to me. I really did. When I resigned from my previous job, I did not waste my time doing nothing at home. In fact I did some spring cleaning that I was getting worried that I never had the time to do it when I was still working. The result was satisfactory and I wish I had done it much earlier because I had more space to re-arrange all the things. I have enjoyed driving ever since my very first lesson, I never particularly thought much about whether I wanted to drive when I was younger. I just assumed I would start learning when I was 17. I had hoped to get a nice car at least, my parents said they would help me buy a car because they got one for my sister a few years earlier. I have to tell you about a story that happened to me when I was about ready to turn 16, and all I could think about was driving. I didn't care about boys or dating, I just wanted to drive. I was surfing the net the other day to find driving schools in my area for my daughter. She really wants a motor bike for her 18th but, I'd rather she learn how to drive a car first. It's probably easier to learn to ride a motor bike but as her mum, I'm looking more into the safety side of things I suppose. Anyway, I have told her to start preparing for her theory test, and I have fond an online test she can practice on. We have come to an agreement; she passes her car test, and after a year I will get her a motor bike. She's chuffed with that so all is good.
